Engineered stone specialist Caesarstone has unveiled a new transport solution, which the company says will improve customer service across the UK.
Going forwards, Caesarstone UK will be using Swains Transport to provide additional support. In addition, the company says it will also look to increase its in-house team to include a new dedicated transport manager, in addition to adding two new trucks to the Caesarstone HGV fleet.
The news of its enhanced transport service follows on from Caesarstone’s pricing restructure that was announced back in April, which Caesarstone UK says was received positively by the market so far.
“Caesarstone is an inherently customer centric organisation and we continually assess our operations to ensure that we are serving our customers and channel partners in the best possible way,” says Edward Smith, managing director of Caesarstone UK.
“Over the last 12 months, we’ve enhanced numerous areas of our inventory management, planning and customer delivery schedules. “This is a natural next step, and it ensures two key elements for us – one, a significantly elevated service to Caesarstone UK customers, and two, a scalable transport solution that can grow rapidly with our UK business.
He concluded: “This investment in our UK organisation gives us careful control over one of our key partner touch points, as well as supporting us for our long-term business growth.”
