Bathroom retailer CP Hart has acquired European Bathrooms, adding its showrooms in Windsor and Amersham to its expanding network.

One of the main benefits of the transaction, said Gary Parkes, the European Bathrooms director who led negotiations with CP Hart, is that both businesses will benefit from access to complementary product designers and manufacturers.
“European Bathrooms brings its very experienced staff, well fitted-out showrooms and different and highly respected new products to CP Hart,” Parkes explained. “The European Bathrooms showrooms will be rebranded CP Hart but its employees and commitment to existing customers and suppliers can only be strengthened by becoming part of a larger company.”
Integration will take place over the next few months and the process will be led by European Bathrooms’ directors who will be staying with the business, with support from the CP Hart team.
CP Hart has traded since 1937 and was acquired jointly by Kevin Ohle and his business partner Richard Reynolds in 2008. At that time, group turnover was £17 million. In the current year, it is projected to reach £50m.
