A new components show, Elements, will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on October 2-5.
Launched by the organisers of the Surface Design Show, Elements will feature a wide range of finishing products for the KBB, furniture production and interior design markets.
The four-day event will work alongside the woodworking machinery and materials exhibition, W16. The new event will offer visitors the opportunity to see the latest products for the UK market and provide a glimpse into the future with prototypes.
Visitors will be able to attend seminars held by leading industry figures and experience three interactive zones.
There will also be three special themed zones. The Innovation Zone will showcase the latest designs on the market, the Best Practice Zone will offer practical advice relating to the industry, while the Competition Zone ‘will feature live, interactive competition, which will see college students from across the UK compete to win work experience with one of the leading names in the industry.
Elements events manager Lisa Campagnola said: “With a history of running events in the building, construction and woodworking sectors, it seemed fitting to add a show to the Montgomery portfolio that completes the manufacturing cycle. The UK market has relied heavily on European component shows in past years. Now, with the launch of Elements, visitors can experience the very latest products from the UK, Europe and further afield.”
