kbbreview announces annual conference

Organisers have announced the first speakers for the kbbreview Retail & Design Conference set to be held at the centre of KBB Birmingham.

It is the first time kbbreview’s annual business conference will be held in partnership with another flagship industry event.

It replaces the traditional seminar theatre with a full four-day programme of advice, debate and discussion curated by the editorial team of kbbreview and hosted by Taylist Media managing editor Andrew Davies.

The programme includes insight into consumer trends from leading online design resource Houzz, a guide to creating the ideal showroom from retail design expert Steve Esdaile and expert advice on making social media a part of your business from digital specialist Warren Knight.

Andrew Davies will be interviewing Bathstore chief executive Gary Favell live on stage and in a special session the kbbreview columnists Trevor Scott, Derek Miller, Paul Crow and Malcolm Scott will be debating the burning issues of the day.

Design oriented sessions include the latest kitchen and bathroom trends, special workshop discussions on open plan living, bespoke kitchens and bathroom interiors. In wider design discussion, there will be an on stage interview with leading industrial designer Dick Powell and a special session looking at the legal aspects of who owns the designs you do for clients.
