Become a Samsung Ambassador

SPONSORED: Jonathan Hartley, channel manager for kitchen retail and B2B Samsung UK, reveals details of Samsung’s new Ambassador Training Programme (SATP) – part of the brand’s Kitchen Circle Partner initiative

As part of our commitment to the continued development of our built-in products and to support our retail partners we have worked hard to create the Samsung Kitchen Circle.

The aim of the Kitchen Circle is to support, educate and reward retailers that have chosen to become a Samsung partner, supplying our latest range of premium products.

We understand that knowledge is what they need to confidently engage with consumers about the features and benefits of our products.

We have therefore, with the primary support of our UK training team, launched the Samsung Ambassador Training Programme (SATP) as part of the Kitchen Circle Partner initiative.

Through a range of development and learning programmes retailers and designers will be able to achieve levels of accreditation, while the showroom will be able to receive an overall module certification. This certification will be awarded when selected members of staff have undertaken key product training sessions.

The courses are aimed at all kitchen showrooms as an effective way for retailers to up-skill and gain the ability to sell the Samsung Kitchen as a complete solution according to the customer’s needs.

We realise that time is money, so we have designed the programme of courses to be flexible. Retailers can either attend sessions at our retail product training centre, in Egham, or, to reduce disruption to sales, retailers can request for the training to take place at their own showroom.

Samsung’s training team will come to the showroom, on an agreed date, to provide engaged and effective training within a continued period of six to 12 weeks – dependent on the module.

There are three modules in the training programme; Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each module covers a variety of key areas including:

  • How to sell Samsung appliances effectively in your kitchen designs;
  • Utilising products to give live demonstrations – customer event support;
  • Solution selling; storytelling; creating the Samsung customer journey in your showroom;
  • Using key knowledge to embed the skills within your showroom through effective video creation for social media and website content;
  • How to connect kitchens and bring them to life through the technology of Samsung;
  • The connected kitchen and how to demonstrate this in a showroom to secure sales;
  • Live demos – showcasing the connected kitchen
  • Providing added value through Samsung’s built-in range;
  • Teaching you how to ask the right questions about your customers’ lifestyle in order to offer Samsung products as a solution for their needs.

The introduction of this tailor-made training programme is just the next step in strengthening the support we offer our Kitchen Circle partners by means of product and sales support.

Samsung continues to focus on engagement and revolutionising products across our wide-ranging portfolio. Our connected-living technology is just one aspect of the brand desire we bring to the consumer. Samsung connected products can connect easily with SmartThings, an open platform that also offers consumers the opportunity to connect to other various third-party applications.
