Antonio Linares has been named as the new senior managing director for Laufen and the northern and central European Roca division.
He succeeds Alberto Magrans who was recently promoted to the role of chief executive of the entire Roca Group.
Linares has years of experience in the international sanitaryware market having joined the Roca Group in 2003. He held several positions in corporate business development and marketing before becoming managing director of Laufen in Russia – where he successfully grew the brand into the market leader in the premium bathroom segment.
Speaking of his new appointment, Linares said: “I congratulate Alberto Magrans on his new position and look forward to continuing his impressive 10-ear work of developing Laufen into the most innovative design brand in the bathroom business.”
Laufen has been part of the family-owned is the premium global brand of the family-owned Roca Group since 1999. The Roca Group employs more than 24,000 people worldwide and has 82 production sites in 19 countries.
