The KBSA has added five retailers and one manufacturer to its growing membership this month, making a total of 29 new members so far this year.
The five new retail members are Showcase Kitchens in Brighton, Anderson Sinclair in Loughton, Essex, Prestige Kitchens in Stalybridge, Cheshire, Henry Rose Interiors in Cambridge and Kitchen Shoppe, which has two showrooms in North Harrow and Richmond.
KH System Möbel, a manufacturer of German kitchens (kitchen pictured), has joined the KBSA as corporate member. The company was established in 1987 and it is said to have a reputation for affordable designer kitchens with British retailers.
Matt Hall, UK sales manager at KH System Möbel, said: “We are delighted to have joined the KBSA and are looking forward to working with them to support the KBB industry and independent retailers.
“It has been a challenging year, but we are driving forward our plans for sensible growth, looking for design-led retailers that want to work closely with a unique, quality German manufacturer. We offer a huge amount of flexibility and innovative design. Our ability to supply bespoke units, across an unlimited range of colours, finishes and price points, offers many benefits and advantages to our retailers.”
KBSA national chair Richard Hibbert said: “I am pleased to welcome these six new members into the association. While it has been a challenging year, membership growth has never been stronger for the KBSA, with 29 new members so far this year. This reflects the commitment we have made to work with the Government on behalf of the sector and provide members with invaluable support and business services.”
