Arbor Lane Interiors expands its manufacturing capability

Bespoke KBB furniture maker Arbor Lane Interiors is doubling the size of its workshop to 10,000sq ft to meet growing demand for its products.

The company, based in Rochester, Kent, was set up by MD Danny Wood in 2019 and manufactures bespoke, made-to-measure kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms for interiors designers, property developers, contractors, architects, trade professionals and kitchen retailers in London and the Home Counties.

The company has acquired a neighbouring industrial unit in order to double the size of its workshop to meet growing demand for its hand-painted in-frame shaker style offering.

Before setting up Arbor Lane Interiors, Wood had spent 10 years in the KBB industry and was previously MD of Burlanes Interiors, which has branches in Essex and Kent.

Arbor Lane Interiors said that with lockdown restrictions beginning to lift, KBB retailers are beginning to invest in their showrooms and the company is predicting a 25% increase in orders over the next 12 months.

Said business development manager Sean O’Malley: “Most of our new enquiries are from retailers wanting to add bespoke, in-frame furniture to their current offerings. We understand the importance of finding a trustworthy, reliable trade furniture manufacturer, and we work alongside retailers to allow them to offer their own brand of in-frame kitchens and furniture for the home.”

Arbor Lane Interiors currently works with around 20 retailers, among them Burlanes. It does not sell its furniture direct to the public, and offers a full support package for its retailers, with access to a library of images as well as full marketing support for their websites and social media.

It says that it will make furniture to any size required and in any colour. Nothing is off-the-shelf.
