Ideal Standard Together World Tour moves on to Dubai

Dubai is the next stop for bathroom products manufacturer Ideal Standard’s Together World Tour.

The Dubai event will be streamed live on November 22 at 1100 BST and will last for 30 minutes. Those interested in attending can register here.

This will be the fifth in the series of cinematic events aimed at the international architecture and design community, offering insights into the culture and design trends of its chosen city as well as insights into the evolution of bathroom design and Ideal Standard’s latest products.

The tour started in Milan in April, then went to Berlin in June. The London event on September 23 was a physical event held at the Design London fair, where speakers from Ideal Standard also gave talks. It was also streamed live from the Together World Tour microsite. The previous event in Paris was an online streamed with no physical counterpart.

The digital Dubai event will explore the historic districts of Dubai, as well as the young spirit of the modern city, uncovering links in design between the past, the present and the future. The stream will also visit the Dubai UAE 2020 Expo exploring some of the innovations on show. Combining the technology of tomorrow with viewpoints from some of the best minds in the sector, the Dubai leg of the Together World Tour will offer audiences insights into the next period of modern living.

Ideal Standard will also showcase new products, including the Intellimix smart tap, as well as products from its Atelier Collections. Commenting on the current leg of the tour, Ideal Standard joint chief excecutive Jan-Peter Tewes said: “Dubai is a place renowned for its rapid urban development and iconic modern architecture. However, it has an incredibly interesting history, which is still extremely visible. In this film, we will look to explore the duality of old and new design concepts.
