Luxury appliance brand Gaggenau has announced the launch of four new flagship stores and showrooms.
The new flagship stores will open in Shanghai this autumn and Paris in January 2022. They will be the first to feature Gaggenau’s new showroom design and concept, created in collaboration with German architecture firm 1zu33.
The other two openings will be showrooms in Amsterdam, launching in September next year, and Brussels at the end of 2022.
Gaggenau managing director Dr Peter Goetz said: “It is a record year for Gaggenau. We are seeing growth in all our key markets and now is the time to invest in the brand and create a unique consumer experience that allows us to have a deeper connection with our audience. For architects and interior designers to homeowners and design enthusiasts, the new flagship stores and showrooms will provide an aesthetically inspiring experience, which showcases Gaggenau’s pursuit of culinary excellence. An exclusive sensory space of expertise that complements the consumers’ luxury lifestyle.”
Each store and showroom will display Gaggenau appliances in new experiential kitchen and living space scenarios through brand collaborations. These will feature interior wood fittings from Schotten and Hansen, modern furniture from Walter Knoll, and lighting installations from Occhio.
The new spaces will include immersive private dining areas, wine bars, and a section dedicated to the brand’s ‘Respected by Gaggenau’ initiative, celebrating independent artisans and producers in the realms of culinary excellence, viniculture innovation and design. There will also be a centrepiece attraction called ‘The Difference’, which allows visitors to discover the ethos of Gaggenau.
