New MD for Sheffield retailer as it celebrates 14 years trading

Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens has appointed Zoë Loveday as its new managing director.

The retailer, which specialises in bespoke, sustainable kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces, is celebrating its 14th year in business this month.

Loveday was previously sales manager and takes over the position from founder Rob Cole, who will move into a new role as chief executive, concentrating on expanding the business ready for future growth and success.

Commenting on the move, Loveday said: “I’m keen to build on the success Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens has experienced to date. We are forging our paths into new markets, but we are still staying close to our strong ethics and values. I’m incredibly excited about the potential for future growth.”

Speaking in his new role as CEO, Cole added: “Our team has evolved, along with the business and changing industry and world over the past 12 months and the new roles will mean we are in a strong position to take the business forward. We have extended our offering to clients, we are now designing bathrooms and other sustainable spaces and also designing and delivering kitchens across the UK, with projects spanning the south coast to Anglesey. We’re excited about the future and next steps for the business!”

Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens has won multiple awards for its sustainable business practices and its designs use a combination of recycled, reclaimed and sustainably sourced materials to produce kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces that it says will last for decades.
