BSH appoints new channel director

Shaun English has been appointed BSH UK’s new channel director of its retail division.

English succeeds Paul Tyler, who left BSH last month to take up a new role as CEO of Euronics UK. Well known in the appliance and kitchen industry, English spent 20 years holding a variety of positions at BSH and from 2014 worked as the company’s independent retail director.

Commenting on his new role, English said: “I’m excited to be taking on the channel director, retail division position. The last two years have been a huge challenge for the industry, and as we enter the post-Covid era, the team and I look forward to working closely with our retail partners to ensure continued success in the years ahead.”

Gunjan Srivastava, CEO, BSH UK and Ireland commented: “I’m delighted to be able to announce that Shaun English is our new channel director, retail division. Having worked at BSH for 20 years, he brings extensive industry experience and knowledge to the role and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

BSH is a Bosch Group company and part of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH. The company’s portfolio includes 11 appliance brands such as Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau and Neff as well as the ecosystem brand Home Connect and service brands like Kitchen Stories. BSH produces at 38 factories and is represented in some 50 countries.
