The KBSA has announced its line-up of presenters and guest speakers ahead of its annual retail conference next month.
Journalist and broadcaster Juliet Morris (pictured) has been named as the host of this year’s conference, which takes place on Wednesday 28 September at the Belfry Hotel & Resort, West Midlands.
As host Morris will welcome the guests at the start of the conference and introduce each of the speakers and elements throughout the day. She will also facilitate the Big Kitchen Bathroom debate in the afternoon which aims to bring the industry together to consider some of the most important challenges facing the sector.
KBSA national chair Richard Hibbert said: “We are delighted that Juliet is to be the conference host. She has built a solid reputation as interviewer and investigator tackling projects of complexity and gravitas.
“I am confident that she will enhance the conference experience for our guests, ensuring that our debate is lively, focused and thought provoking.”
Titled ‘Engaging Minds – Empowering Success’, the conference – which, for the first time ever the KBSA is open to all retailers, not just KBSA members, to attend – aims to offer valuable insight into future opportunities and challenges for the independent retailer. Expert knowledge from guest speakers and industry debate will focus on how to develop your business and improve profitability. Join us to explore the topics that matter including enhancing performance, leadership, sustainability, training and the skills shortage.
Guest speakers include one of the UK’s leading Performance Psychologists Dr Martin Littlewood and Published author, entrepreneur and business and leadership coach Andy McLachlan. The Designer Awards ceremony will be hosted by British comic actress Sally Phillips.
