Appliance giant Haier has opened its third Haier Activation Centre in the UK in Islington’s Business Design Centre.
Created in partnership with Symphony Kitchens, the design of the centre incorporates an open-plan kitchen, living area and a meeting space.
The new venue will allow the Haier UK team to have a purpose-built space for meetings with trade partners, internal team meetings, press events, product launches, and demonstrations of the brands assortment of products. These include ovens, induction hobs, integrated double dishwashers, single-door wine coolers, the Cube 90 Series 7 fridge-freezer, and the I-Pro Series 7 washing machine and tumble dryer.
Although the new activation centre is the third of its kind in the country, it is the first in the south of the UK. Its opening follows the successful launch of two brand and training activation centres in Warrington.
Haier’s director of brand and communications Antony Peart said: “The new Haier Design Activation Centre at the Business Design Centre in London is the perfect location. It will give us a space in the heart of the capital, for customers, colleagues, and the community, and it will provide us with amazing opportunities to launch ground-breaking products at the heart of an iconic and industry leading event space.”
This news follows Haier’s end-of-year financial statement, where it reported record growth for its 2022 financial year. It also recently outlined an ambitious UK growth strategy, which it says will hopefully make the brand “the UK’s supplier of choice.”
