Hisense announces sponsorship of UEFA Euro 2024 competition

Chinese CE and appliance giant Hisense has announced that it is extending its strategic partnership with UEFA to sponsor the Euro 2024 football competition.

This is the third year that Hisense will sponsor the UEFA European Football Championship, having previously sponsored it in 2016 and 2020, as well as the FIFA World Cup in 2022.

As part of the deal, Hisense will have sponsorship rights for UEFA European qualifiers in 2023/24 and 2025/26, UEFA Nations League finals in 2025, UEFA Under-21 Euro 2025, Finalissima 2024 and UEFA Futsal 2026.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Hisense UK vice-president Howard Grindrod said: “We are thrilled to be once again partnering with UEFA on the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament. The championships are an invaluable way to connect with consumers all over the world, and we look forward to providing fans across the globe with an unparalleled viewing experience of UEFA Euro 2024 through our cutting-edge technology.”

UEFA marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein added: “I am thrilled that Hisense is renewing its commitment to European football as an official Partner of UEFA Euro 2024, which will be the third consecutive EURO together. Their technologies continue to help make football more accessible and enjoyable to fans worldwide.” 

Hisense says that it has seen. Its overseas brand awareness double over the past five years, with sponsorships and associations with tournaments significantly contributing to a 25 percentage point increase in overseas brand awareness.

Customers who have purchased a selected Hisense built-in appliance between September 1 and October 10 can enter a prize draw to win tickets to the UEFA Euro 2024 final.
