Bathroom manufacturer Geberit has announced a new strategic partnership with Irish distributor Niko Bathrooms, in a move which Geberit says reinforces its “commitment” to customers in the Republic of Ireland.

Effective of October 15, Niko Bathrooms – which is part of the Uppercross Enterprises Group – is now an authorised distributor of Geberit’s complete portfolio, which includes products from its heritage Twyford brand.

Although Geberit products have been available in the country through other distribution channels before this, the manufacturer says that this new partnership reinforces its “commitment to delivering high functioning bathroom solutions to valued customers across Republic of Ireland.”

Niko Bathrooms has vowed to provide both retailers and specifiers with “seamless accessibility” to Geberit’s products, which will be stocked at its headquarters and warehouse in Louth.

Geberit’s head of sales for Ireland, Pat McAreavey, commented: “One of the key benefits of this partnership is being able to provide retailers and specifiers in Republic of Ireland with easy access to the entire Geberit Select and Twyford product ranges. From concealed cisterns to ceramics and furniture, all Geberit sanitary solutions will be available at their fingertips.”

Alan Maguire, retail sales director at Niko Bathrooms, added: “We are a trusted and reliable distributor within the industry and this partnership with Geberit will elevate the service that we can provide to our customers in Republic of Ireland. And with the added benefit of next-day delivery, our customers will have access to an even wider range of top-tier bathroom products to choose from.”

Earlier this year, Geberit was also named one of the most trusted companies in the world, in a list compiled by Newsweek.
