Five new retail members join KBSA

The KBSA has welcomed five new retail members into the association.

The new members – all of whom joined the association in September – are The London Bath Co, Impact Kitchens Ltd, Bold Kitchens Ltd and Kitchenality Ltd.

Quarrybank Boutique has also joined the KBSA as a foundational member, which is a discounted membership option available to retailers that have been trading for longer than six months, but less than two years.

The KBSA exists to represent independent specialists across the KBB sector, and aims to promote the professionalism and excellence available from independent KBB retailers.

All KBSA members have to follow an approved code of conduct and are subject to strict monitoring from the association. This allows customers to feel secure when using retailers that have KBSA membership status, as they have to subscribe to strict professional standards.

Speaking of his business’ new membership status, the owner of Impact Kitchens, Richard Webster, said: “I am delighted to have the KBSA sign above our door, giving customers extra confidence in our business. The wide range of business services on offer will also provide a real boost.”

Similarly, Koralia Hume, co-owner of Quarrybank Boutique, added: “We are thrilled to be accepted to the KBSA family. The membership provides our clients with further confirmation of our unparalleled services and showroom experience”.”

The KBSA’s retail and corporate membership director, Malcolm Scott, commented: “I am delighted to welcome all of these retailers into the KBSA. It is pleasing to see another new retailer take up the Foundation membership in recent months.”

Earlier this year, the KBSA welcomed Waterline as one of its new corporate supplier members. The association’s chariman, Richard Hibbert, also commented on the recent acquisition of Mereway Kitchens by Sigma 3, saying the decision made him “delighted”.
