Wall panel manufacturer Multipanel has entered into a partnership with DIY chain Wickes, which will see the national giant stocking its products.
Multipanel’s Tile, Linda Barker and Pure Collections will now be available in Wickes stores as well as on its online retail platform.
Staff from Multipanel are planning to spend time with design consultants in each Wickes location to educate them on the wall panel products. Additionally, Multipanel will be working with Wickes to create bespoke marketing materials.
Multipanel says that given the large number of Wickes stores across the UK, this new partnership represents “a major milestone” in its history.
Michael Dobson, Multipanel’s sales director, was pleased with the news. “The new partnership with Wickes tops off a fantastic year for Multipanel”, he said. “They are one of the largest home-improvement retailers in the UK and we’re excited to bring something new to the fantastic portfolio their designers already specify.”
Wickes’s category manager Liam McMahon said: “We expect Multipanel’s products to be popular with both our designers and customers and we’re looking forward to how the partnership progresses over the coming months”.
A recent report named Wickes as the “most prominent” bathroom retail brand in the UK for 2023. Earlier this year, Multipanel announced that its parent company – Grant Westfield – had appointed former sales director, John Mortimer, to be the company’s new managing director.
