What will the bathroom brands be showing at kbb Birmingham 2024?

With kbb Birmingham 2024 set to kick off this weekend, we take a look at what bathroom products are looking to make a splash on the show floor

Acquabella 
Stand: D44

The Spanish brand is presenting an “innovative and avant-garde decorative concept of the shower space” at kbb. The company says the new concept allows users to design their bathroom using elements such as bespoke shower trays in different textures and colours, as well as panels, worktops, furniture, etc.

New products that are due to be launched at the show include the Noon Slate bathtub (pictured) and the Alma Slate shower tray. The tub boasts a contemporary, minimalist design made of Acquabella’s exclusive manufacturing material, while the shower tray has an aesthetic that “combines modern style with timeless appeal”.

Aqualla/Adamsez 
Stand: D64 & D70

Aqualla is set to unveil an array of new products and colour options this year, with its Brushed Bronze finish, making its exclusive preview. The popular Hanna range is extending to six colourways, starting with the introduction of Brushed Nickel, followed by Brushed Bronze later in March.

The brand is also launching a new category – WC frames and flush plates, and it aims to transform the retailer’s buying experience, offering seamless integration and coordination across colour collections.

Meanwhile, Adamsez will showcase its award-winning Geo Stone Bath, recognised with the prestigious Red Dot design award, as well as a matt black stone bath, Mila, and newly introduced stone countertops.

Bidbury & Co 
Stand: S72 & H84

From a soft launch in 2023, Bidbury & Co is now officially launching as a premium manufacturer of taps, making its debut at the trade show in Birmingham, and sharing stands with both Häfele and Whitebirk Sinks.

The English company has taken its 30 years’ experience in the KBB sector to launch its new product range. Managing director Richard Broadbent has been obsessed with design, manufacturing and finding the best possible solutions to produce its wares, the company says. Deep R&D, and examining the competition, has inspired the team to re-engineer and improve designs, choosing the best materials and manufacturers in Europe to give a better-quality tap.

This improvement gives another advantage with the ability to offer better service and longer warranties on the range of 15 new taps, the company claims.

Clearwater 
Stand: M113

Clearwater Products will showcase its Twist and Spray tap at this year’s show along with its new Pioneer tap and a raft of other products being kept under wraps until the event. Transforming a standard kitchen tap into an industrial-style, professional tap with one simple twist, the Twist and Spray Tap is, according to the brand, the perfect way to upgrade a standard kitchen tap to a professional model, with the aerator providing two flow types that can be changed with a simple twist of the flange. Pioneer, meanwhile, taps into the ongoing trend for industrial styling, Clearwater says.

Decosan 
Stand: J87

The Spanish brand will focus on two ranges at this years’ kbb show, the COOL collection and the Glow collection. The COOL collection is crafted using superior marine board, known for its durability and elegance, Decosan says.

Each piece features smoothly operating, fully extendable drawers and high-quality mechanical guides, ensuring both functionality and style, the company claims. The Glow collection is competitively priced to make a significant impact in the market.

This collection will also be stocked in the UK, offering a variety of finishes in lacquer and different standard sizes, catering to diverse preferences and needs.

Flair
Stand: F40

Flair is presenting a host of new products within its Harmony Collection. The Harmony portfolio encompasses a premium selection of shower enclosures, wet rooms and bath screens, favoured by leading bathroom retailers and project specifiers throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe, the company says.

The brand is also launching the ILI shower door range to UK customers at kbb Birmingham 2024. ILI is described as a fusion of original style and practical affordability. Crafted from 6mm glass, the handle features an integrated towel hook.

The minimalist profiles and neatly curved hinges present simple, clean lines to the door aesthetic. Each sliding door features a silent wheel track system while the Clearvue coating ensures that the shower door glass remains spotless and sparkling clean, the company adds.

Giavani Bathrooms
Stand: E83

Giavani Bathrooms says its collections are designed and crafted with precision, drawing on over 20 years of expertise and design experience. The company takes pride in sourcing the best -quality materials to guarantee a perfect synergy between aesthetic and quality, it says.

Among the products on show will be the Sapporo freestanding bath (pictured), with a geometric-patterned aesthetic, and curved shape, made from what Giavani says is easy-to-clean sanitary-grade acrylic, reinforced with fibreglass laminate for optimum strength.

Harrison Bathrooms
Stand: E54

Harrison Bathrooms is launching a range of new products under its Scudo brand, including two new furniture collections – Esme and Muro Plus. The floorstanding Esme cloakroom unit is a perfect way to add additional storage space to a smaller bathroom without compromising on space, says Harrison Bathrooms.

Esme is compact and slimline and is available with a space-saving ceramic basin. The single internal shelf offers plenty of storage space for bathroom essentials, while the soft-close doors provide quiet and controlled closure. Visitors to the stand can also expect to see an expansion of the Alfie and Aubrey furniture collections with new configurations, a new Puriti sanitaryware collection and compact marble basin.

House of Rohl
Stand: D68

Since House of Rohl was introduced at the kbb show in 2022, the family of brands that includes Shaws, Perrin and Rowe, Riobel and Victoria + Albert, has, it says, gone from strength to strength.

Parent company Fortune Brands Innovations has now acquired British showering brand, Aqualisa. Standout new products from Perrin and Rowe and Victoria + Albert will be previewed for the first time, and of course the usual teas and coffees will be served using Perrin and Rowe instant hot water taps.

With the acquisition of Aqualisa, the company is also keen to show the benefits of digital smart showering, and will have working displays to bring the technology to life. For any retailer or designer who doesn’t feel they fully understand the advantages of smart showers, this is an ideal opportunity to find out more, says House of Rohl.

InSinkErator

Kbb Birmingham 2024 provides the first opportunity for the UK kitchen industry to discover the Next Generation of food waste disposers from InSinkErator. Over 90 years of innovation has brought the brand to this point. Continuously honing its products since their invention in 1927 by founder John Hammes, the Next Generation is the very latest milestone. Visitors to the stand can expect to learn how advancements in technology help to provide a convenient, clean solution for managing food waste.  

Leda Bathrooms

Leda Bathrooms are a distribution business which offers mid- to high-end products aimed primarily at the accessible market. The idea is to make an accessible bathroom look attractive and not clinical. According to the brand, it offers a “complete solution” for all bathrooms, including what it claims is the largest collection of walk-in baths and tubs in the UK, plus shower enclosures, trays, brassware, waterproof furniture, grab rails, and other aids. New products include the Artweger JOICE Walk-in+, considered to be the first barrier free walk-in shower which can also be used for bathing.

Mapei UK

Another first-timer to the show, Mapei UK will showcase innovations from the Profilpas range, including: the Profilpas LED profiles for the illumination and decoration of floors and walls; general wall and flooring profiles in aluminium, stainless steel, brass and chrome-plated brass, alongside contemporary-styled shower drains and pedestal systems.

Complementary Mapei products will include: Mapelastic AquaDefense Tanking Kit and Shower Waterproofing Kit; Mapeguard UM 35 for waterproofing and decoupling; Mapeheat underfloor heating, grouts and adhesives and cleaning, and maintenance products from Mapei’s UltraCare range to provide full installation systems for tiled finishes.

Merlyn 
Stand: D40

Merlyn prides itself on creating beautiful shower enclosures that are designed to look great, be easy to maintain and have a lifetime guarantee – all with exceptional customer service as a hallmark. The shower enclosure specialist will present its new Wetroom Collection, which is available in chrome, matt black, brushed brass and brushed bronze.

All panels 700mm and above come with a 1,000mm straight stabilising bar, and have a strong and sturdy construction. They are suitable for recess or corner situation and are also reversible. Merlyn will also showcase its new Black Frameless 1 Door Quadrant with 8mm glass thickness, concealed fixing and sooth action with extra-strong rollers.

Showerwall

Established as a style leader in the wall panelling market, Showerwall will be showcasing its new collection of 22 new designs for 2024 at the show, incorporating the latest design trends, which includes a new laminate tile collection. The 2024 collection will incorporate ‘spathroom’ luxury, ‘mood-boosting’ botanicals and statement murals, meeting the needs of consumers seeking to create a sanctuary that allows them to relax and unwind.

As well as eye-catching designs, the Showerwall team will be on hand to discuss the launch of their new online retailer support hub and Point of Sale solutions, while sharing their market insights with a 2024 trend guide.

Sonas Bathrooms

Sonas Bathrooms has revealed it is excited to unveil numerous new additions to its 2024 collection during its time at the kbb Birmingham show. Highlights on its stand will include the preview of the Gaia stone-effect bath and unveiling of the Reed concept bath with fluted design. Also on display from Sonas will be the newly launched 2024 additions, including the Hakk Brassware Collection, Aspect Scandinavian coloured wet-room panels, and Mirage framed wet-room panels. 

St James Collection

The British brand is inviting visitors to come and discover its “luxury brassware rich in
British heritage”. According to the company, St James Traditional combines iconic styling with assured quality and reliability. This bathroom brassware range also allows retailers and specifiers to choose from bespoke hand-finished detailing and customisable options to achieve a tailored solutions for every space. St James Distinction encompasses four unique bathroom ranges – Arno (pictured), Wallis, Stratton and Corinthia. St James Living is a fresh new collection of bathroom brassware and kitchen taps and sinks that has been carefully curated to maximise aesthetic appeal. 

Vado

Vado is delighted to return as an exhibitor at kbb Birmingham after a decade-long absence, and can’t wait to show off what it has been doing. The bathroom brand will present an extensive array of products from its diverse brassware collections. These include the ever-popular Individual collection, which includes the recent launch of its Brushed Bronze finish, as well as its Zone thermostatic shower valve, and Booth & Co., Vado’s traditional brassware offering.

VitrA

VitrA will be showing its Sento, Valarte and Root ranges, as well as its VitrA tiles and a host of new launches which are set to inspire and excite visitors to the show. A contemporary new addition to VitrA’s portfolio is the new M-Line range of furniture and washbasins. Inspired by the city, the simple designs of the collection integrate various forms, colours and sizes to create bathrooms that meet every need, the company says. The M-Line Collection consists of two distinct styles of furniture: M-Line Edge (pictured) and M-Line Pure. The M-Line Edge bathroom furniture creates prominence with its detailed features. The series includes washbasin cabinets, tall cabinets and mirror cabinets, in walnut, black oak and light oak finishes. Its mirrored cabinets have built-in sensor lights, with a range of convenient storage options.
