KBB retailers association the KBSA has announced the dates and venue for its industry conference, which will have a new host for 2024.
The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) is returning to the Belfry Hotel and Resort in the West Midlands and will hold its 2024 conference there on Wednesday, October 9.
There will be a retailer dinner the evening before the conference and its Awards dinner will follow the conference on the Wednesday.
The conference will have a theme of Empowering and Enhancing Excellence and will be hosted this year by broadcast journalist Emma Crosby, who presented Channel 5’s flagship news programme for five years. She was also a presenter on Sky News for several years, covering such top stories as the terrorist bombings of Glasgow Airport, for which she won a Bafta for best new coverage.
KBSA chair Richard Hibbert said: “We anticipate that we will have another sell-out year, so advise retailers save the date and register their interest with the KBSA to secure a place.
“We are building on the success of last year with a strong programme designed to provide thought-provoking and relevant content, which will enhance business performance.”
The conference this year will, says the KBSA, will follow the same format as last year, with extended breaks between presentations to allow for networking and for visits to the business services exhibition and advice surgery. Trusted suppliers will be on hand to provide guidance on topics such as finance, credit card processing, HR and legal and health and well-being.
Once again non-member retailers are welcome to attend. Hibbert commented: “We had such great feedback last year from non-members that attended. Not only did they benefit from the presentations, but enjoyed the opportunity to experience the strength and support that comes from being a part of the KBSA.”
