What will the appliance brands be showing at kbb Birmingham 2024?
The kbb show 2024 is just days away, so we take a look at the new and exciting appliance products that are set to be on display at the show
AEG – Stand G70
On display on the Electrolux stand, AEG will be showing its Ecoline products, which are said to help consumers make the most efficient choice every time they use them. Designed to deliver performance without compromise, AEG says the Ecoline range is built with innovation to help reduce environmental impact. The range features its most efficient and EU market competitive energy labels, with features also designed to be effortlessly efficient. Other key focus products on show will include the SaphirMatt hob and the MaxiSpace fridge freezer, which offers 45% more capacity than a standard model.
AGA / AGA Rayburn – Stand J75
Making its kbb Birmingham debut, AGA will be giving visitors their first chance to see the brand-new ERA from AGA – its first-ever glass AGA (pictured). Also on display will be the AGA eR7, which features full digital control, three heat-storage ovens – two with adjustable temperatures – and cast-iron boiling and simmering plates that promise fast heat-up times. Visitors will also be able to see the new AGA colourway, Raspberry, on the all-electric eR3 170i.
Also on Stand J75 will be an all-electric Rayburn Ranger from AGA Rayburn, which is billed as the most technically advanced Rayburn ever.
Asko – Stand M112
Among the product displayed on Asko’s stand will be a key one for the brand – its Style laundry range, which includes its washing machine, tumble dryer, and heat pump drying cabinet – all made from high-quality stainless steel. Another “showstopper” will be its wine climate cabinet, which is said to be made to the highest quality with classic and sleek Scandinavian styling, while offering a secure home for your precious wine collection.
Also on show will be its integrated dishwasher with “state-of-the-art features” and the Craft built-in oven range, including the unique 5-in-1 compact oven, which offers five different cooking methods, and is said to be completely unique to the market.
Bora – Stand K90
As the self-styled “pioneer in effective filtration of cooking odours”, Bora will present its portfolio of cooktop extractor systems that extract cooking vapours and grease particles, alongside the Bora X BO steam oven with integrated odour filtration. Live cookery demonstrations will take place on the Bora stand throughout the show, where visitors can experience its technology first-hand.
Additionally, for the first time to a UK audience, the brand will present the Bora refrigeration and freezing systems further extending the Bora principle that empowers people to achieve the best cooking results and promotes the kitchen as a holistic concept used for cooking, eating and lifestyle.
Caple – Stand L80
For Caple this year, the main focus will be on its Sense Premium products, the brand-new black glass finish across some of the appliance ranges, and the new Caple Plasma air cleaning solution – using extractor technology from PlasmaMade. Most kitchens use outdoor extraction or carbon filters to remove cooking odours. The PlasmaMade E-Filter is a revolutionary plasma filter with patented technology that offers a cost-effective and sustainable solution. There will also be a demo area where the southern and northern regional training managers, Jo Underway and Lauren Ward, will be talking through the many functions of Caple’s cooking products.
CDA – Stand K110
From British appliance brand CDA will be an elevation of its signature cooking appliances along with the new evolution in CDA ovens. Kbb Birmingham will see the introduction of Chester, the latest addition in its American refrigeration range, and the stand will include Nancy, CDA’s “beautifully unique retro cooler” that it says, brings old school into the modern era as a true statement piece within any home. Additionally, some visitors will be able to receive a treat as part of CDA’s local link with the premium Nottinghamshire-born 200 Degrees coffee wholesaler, who have given their stamp of approval to CDA’s machine.
Elica – Stand H70
The highlight of the Elica stand will be LHOV, a-new product to the UK market that integrates hob, hood and a “revolutionary” extractor oven in a single appliance. LHOV’s design complements and enhances modern kitchen layouts, whilst providing extraction that removes vapours and odours not only from the hob but from the oven as well, Elica says.
According to the brand, the extraction system has been discreetly hidden, while the oven is positioned under the hob at the perfect height for ergonomic use. Also on display will be its wide range of NikolaTesla extractor hobs. This includes NikolaTesla Unplugged, which brings together the elegance of the hugely successful NikolaTesla Switch as well as the benefits of analogue control, Elica says.
Franke – Stand J70
A key highlight from Franke will be its Mythos Black Line collection of appliances – a curated collection of products reflecting demand for black accents in home design, and the family-centred Maris ranges. These include ovens, hobs, warming drawers, coffee machines and wine coolers with some of the products on display being brand new additions to the range.
It will also showcase its flagship Water Hub instant boiling water tap range, which draws on Franke’s decades of experience of the tap market. Another new tap range making its debut is the Heritage Collection of classically styled taps reflecting the “Cottagecore” trend which includes a new polished nickel finish.
Haier – Stands W72, W80 and X90
According to the Chinese brand, design is the hallmark of the cooking area from Haier, where the new ID Series will be displayed. Connected ovens and hobs characterised by sophisticated styling and exclusive Bionicook technologies, will be the main highlight, it says. The use of advanced “bionic” intelligence is said to be just one of its innovative functions tailored to users’ needs. The Bionic Vision embedded camera recognises the food and automatically chooses the ideal preparation parameters during the entire cycle, by measuring the temperature thanks to Bionic Precision. All ID Series ovens also have an energy rating of A++.
InSinkErator – Stand J84
Kbb Birmingham 2024 provides the first opportunity for the UK kitchen industry to discover the Next Generation of food waste disposers from InSinkErator. Over 90 years of innovation has brought the brand to this point. Continuously honing its products since their invention in 1927 by founder John Hammes, the Next Generation is the very latest milestone. Visitors to the stand can expect to learn how advancements in technology help to provide a convenient, clean solution for managing food waste.
KitchenEX – Stand L90
KitchenEX is set to unveil a range of new product launches from both ILVE and Faber, offering a “great opportunity” for professionals in the kitchen industry to witness first-hand the latest innovations from two incredible brands, meet the team and ask any questions about KitchenEX’s services.
From ILVE, visitors will see bespoke range cookers, and sleek and stylish ovens, while Faber will be launching its latest range of sophisticated extractors at the show – all with a focus on innovation and design. Faber’s products are engineered to elevate any kitchen space whilst keeping the space feeling fresh, the company says. According to Kitchenex, Faber is constantly exploring new ideas, acquiring new knowledge and investigating new extraction technology.
La Cornue – Stand J75
This is the first time that La Cornue has exhibited at kbb Birmingham. The company will be displaying its Grand Palais 180 range cooker with canopy extraction (pictured), alongside its Flamberge Rôtisserie, Castel 60 model, and the competitively-priced range of Cornufé cookers.
Liebherr – Stand K114
This major name in refrigeration will be welcoming show visitors to experience its next-generation Under Counter appliances and Vinidor wine fridges. According to the brand, these new appliances represent efficiency and quality in even the smallest spaces. The new models have an energy efficiency class C, which Liebherr considers to be best-in-class for this market segment. Liebherr’s Vinidor wine fridges will also be on show, which the brand says feature in-built innovation. Liebherr also says Vinidor wine fridges can surpass the requirements of wine connoisseurs in terms of storing and tempering wine, offering perfect, protective storage conditions. Other features include 3-fold UV glass protection, in-built shelf compressors to counter any vibrations, humidity regulators and Power Chill functionality.
Novy – Stand J75
Novy is promising a host of innovative appliances for its stand at kbb Birmingham, including the Panorama Collection of vented downdraft induction hobs. It will also have its ‘ultra-quiet’ recirculation hoods on show, including the Phantom Island Hood and Cloud Ceiling Hood. The company will also be demonstrating its touch-free, gesture-controlled Designer Lighting Collection (pictured).
Rangemaster – Stand J60
The company will be showcasing its range cooker, sink and tap collections on its stand, including a new line-up of range cooker families. This will be its first new range cooker launch since 2019. The new line-up will see the introduction of six new colours, bringing the total on offer to 14. And while they are on the stand, visitors will also be treated to regular live cookery demonstrations on each day of the show.
Alongside its appliances, Rangemaster will be launching 100 new sinks and taps. These will include streamlined stainless steel sinks, multifunctional granite workstations and a variety of taps in different styles and finishes.
The stand will also have a dedicated Leisure Sinks area displaying the latest products from the brand, which celebrated its 90th anniversary last year.
Samsung – Stand K70
Samsung will be displaying its latest range of home appliances from the Bespoke Home collection, with a key focus on connectivity, AI and energy efficiency. New launches include the new Multi-Door Family Hub fridge-freezer with AI energy mode and a “first-to-market” A-rated 750mm SpaceMax combi fridge-freezer with 535 litre capacity. These will sit alongside its existing key products, including its Dual Cook Flex ovens and Slim Fit hobs. Samsung will also be launching the Samsung Extras programme, its new rewards and marketing platform. It will also be showing the Jet Bot Combo, a new wet and dry robot vacuum with steam sterilisation.
Westin – Stand N84
Westin plans to showcase a restyled Stratus Compact ceiling hood with sleek styling and new features, along with a breath of fresh air from Westin’s 360 recirculation technology, which includes its new four-point air filtration system. Plus, the brand will be displaying handcrafted, British made hoods from The Collection, and ultra-high-performance hoods from the Professional series, as well as unique bespoke examples. As the company’s sole UK distributor, Westin will also be showing examples of the Sirius range of hoods, a long-established Italian brand with distinct styling and high-end quality, at a mid-range price point. The Sirius hoods on display will include models with innovative anti-condensation technology.
