Wakefield-based quartz worktop supplier Roann Limited is celebrating breaking its monthly sales record, reporting a sales figure of £1.87M in June.
The milestone figure surpasses the business’ previous record-breaking month by more than £55,000. It’s also an increase of more than £433,000 over the company’s monthly sales figure from June 2023.
Roann Limited said that June’s impressive figure also marks the sixth time it has surpassed the £1M montly sales milestone.
According to Roann Limited, its success in June has been attributed to “key substantial orders” from St. Joseph, a division of housebuilder Berkely Homes that operates in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Roann Limited has been appointed as a worktop provider of Cosentino and Compac to two of St Joseph’s newbuild projects.
Scott Wharton, operations and technical director at Roann Limited celebrated the milestone as well as the company’s recent growth. He commented: “I’ve been with Roann Limited for over 15 years and the growth we’ve experienced and continue to experience is outstanding.
“Our record-breaking growth in June is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and despite the unpredictable nature of our industry, we continue to deliver exceptional results for our growing portfolio of clients.
“We’re proud to deliver quality worktops nationwide, with key projects in the London and Birmingham area, all manufactured from our Yorkshire factory. Let’s see what our next record-breaking month hits!”
Back in January, Roann Limited also reported that 2023 was a record year as a whole for sales, with turnover increasing by 45%. Turnover for 2023 was £12 million. It marked the second year running that sales rose for the worktops specialist, with sales in 2022 up by 100% from £8.3m in 2021.
