Keller develops “market first” bio-based kitchen

In what it is describing as a “first for the kitchen market”, Keller has introduced a bio-based kitchen, called enduura, which uses materials said to be not readily available in the market.

Its base model is MDF, comprising residual streams from the wood industry, whereas the top layer is high pressure laminate (HPL), made from kraft paper and a bio-based resin instead of phenolic resin.

Keller says that the enduura kitchen is now suitable for mass production and shipping from its manufacturing facility in The Netherlands.
