Virtual Worlds refreshes look with new update

Cyncly launches Virtual Worlds Version 8.4.

Cyncly has launched Version 8.4 of its Virtual Worlds CAD software, unveiling a “fresher, modern look.”

Taking a phased approach to the launch, with more new features to be introduced later in the year, Cyncly says the first thing Virtual Worlds retailers will notice about the initial phases of Version 8.4 is its new look.

Virtual Worlds users can “look forward to improved functionality” with features including updated welcome pages, design templates, light and dark modes, and connection points.

The new features include a Texture Settings button that enables designers to apply textures and add a custom texture in one location. In a statement, Cyncly said this new feature “means textures can be applied from any catalogue, and edited for size or positioning in what is now a simplified process.”

Commenting on the update, Matthew Froggatt, national sales manager UK Virtual Worlds & EQ, said: “The new look gives the user a fresher, modern look and aligns with other brands within Cyncly.

“Born out of user feedback, we have enhanced and consolidated key functions to make the user experience easier. In making these changes we also speed up the time it takes to add detail to the designs.”

Froggatt also highlighted new features in tiling, lighting, and rendering which he said will “add a new level of customisability and realism.”

The statement also went on to say that behind the scenes, some user centre updates have also been made, including automatic catalogue updates by default, which “ensures designers are always working with the latest versions and have access to the latest product launches from the hundreds of leading bathroom manufacturers that are included on the software.”
Last month, Cyncly also announced that its EQ Flex software now integrates with Virtual Worlds and Winner.
