Atlanta Bathrooms renovates showroom to mark 60 years

BeModern’s Atlanta Bathrooms has officially renovated its headquarters showroom in Jarrow to coincide with the company’s 60th anniversary.

The British-based manufacturer welcomed Labour MP for Jarrow & Gateshead East, Kate Osborne, and CEO of the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA), Tom Reynolds, to its headquarters and manufacturing facility, to help celebrate the occasion.

BeModern Ltd, was established in 1964, and started with with 5 employees and a 5,000 square foot factory in Sunderland. 60 years on, the company has expanded operations to over 250,000 square feet of production and warehouse space, employing over 300 local people and supplying customers nationwide.

The newly renovated showroom space showcases some of the company’s new ranges that were launched over the summer, as well as a selection of other products from its extensive portfolio.

“It was an honour to invite Kate and Tom to open our showroom,” commented Mike Spink, managing director of Be Modern. He continued: “We’re extremely proud of our business, which continues to go from strength to strength thanks to the fantastic people who make this business what it is.

“As a dedicated UK manufacturer with long standing roots in our local area, it was a delight and perfectly fitting to introduce Kate and Tom to our business and have them officially open the showroom. We look forward to welcoming our customers in the near future.”
