Entries close next week for the annual BMA Sustainability Awards for bathroom manufacturers.
The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) is urging members to use the awards to showcase their efforts in forging a greener future and making significant strides towards minimising environmental impact within the sector.
Starting in 2021, the awards ceremony is set against the backdrop of the BMA’s Industry Conference at the Carden Park Hotel in October.
Tom Reynolds, the BMA’s chief executive, said: “In the face of ongoing industry challenges, our members’ dedication to push the sustainability agenda continues to be an inspiration.
“Last year’s entries were ‘glowing’ according to our judges and ‘far ahead of others in the construction supply chain on sustainability’, so we are expecting this year to be truly special.”
There are a number of categories to enter:
- Carbon Reduction Award
- Water Efficient Innovation Award
- Open Award (Initiatives such as transitioning to a circular economy model, educating staff about efficient water use, or inspiring consumers to make eco-friendly decisions through marketing and product campaigns.
All entries must be submitted by midnight on August 31 via the official website.
