Paul Tyler, the CEO of Combined Independents (Holdings) Ltd (CIH) – a subsidiary of electrical group Euronics – has announced his plans to step down.
According to Tyler, he plans to leave the role on April 4, 2025. He joined the company as CEO in January of 2022, and since then, CIH says he has worked tirelessly across the last three years to deliver support to the company’s members.
Prior to his time at CIH, Tyler also worked at appliance giants BSH and Miele, and spent 10 years before that working as an independent electrical retailer.
During Tyler’s time in the role, CIH has added several new product categories to its portfolio, and he helped champion the CIH Showcase event which has seen significant growth.
CIH chairman Steve Scogings said: “In only three years, Paul has made a significant difference to the business and has instilled a fantastic team ethic within the staff of CIH. He has overseen a revolution in our website and marketplace offering, created a new team dedicated to supporting members and introduced exciting new partnerships with Fair For You and Trust Power.
“His understanding and support in what we do as members has allowed us to achieve industry recognition with Which? and Feefo. Paul has always been a total professional in his extensive career and will continue to support CIH until April next year to complete current projects.”
“CIH is in a great place, and much of that is because of the vision, hard work and commitment that Paul has shown to the business. Euronics continues to lead the way in delivering exceptional services and advocacy and, under Paul’s leadership, we are delivering unparalleled value to CIH members. We wish him all the best for the future.”
