Shower enclosure brand Merlyn has expanded its business into the French market, with plans to distribute products from a Paris warehouse.
As part of the market launch, Merlyn has partnered with 22 freelance agents positioned around the country, who the company says will combine extensive local knowledge with Merlyn training.
The company’s expansion is supported by a dedicated French speaking team across four specialities. Merlyn has also created specific French brochures with products and information, customised point of sale material, a new French website, and unique French social media content.
The enclosure brand has also partnered with logistics experts Sanidis to handle storage and distribution of its products. Merlyn anticipates it will be able to deliver orders nationwide within 7 days, with customers closer to Paris having access to delivery times as fast as 24 hours.
To help support the launch, Merlyn has also developed a range of products designed specifically to cater to the French market. These include Arysto Sleek enclosures and MBOX in chrome, wetrooms available in 8mm and an exclusive 6mm range for France, and bath screens in a selection of high-quality designs
