After announcing the Silver X Group as its new transport provider last year, KBB distributor PWS has unveiled a new delivery fleet and opened a new “game-changer” North East hub, which will allow for more efficient service for customers.
According to PWS, the fleet is made up of mostly 3-year-old vehicles or less, which vary in size from between 7.5 to 18 tonnes, and have been tailored to suit a wide variety of customers’ premises.
The distributor says that these new vehicles will offer a smoother and more efficient delivery service – making deliveries quicker and hassle-free. In addition, PWS says the new vehicles are fully equipped with tail lifts and pump trucks, meaning there is little need for assisted delivery.
Meanwhile, the newly opened North East hub has been promised as a “game-changer for its delivery network”. By optimising delivery routes and reducing transit times, PWS says this will enable it to run more efficiently, and customers will see an enhanced level of service.
In addition, PWS also rolled out a raft of other enhancements to its delivery service, including implementing real-time tracking for customers’ orders, the ability for customers to reschedule deliveries with ease, and launching a feedback message service.
