Bathroom supplier MyLife Bathrooms has announced the construction of a new purpose-built warehouse and office facility, which it says will become one of the largest commercial buildings in the city of Newry, Northern Ireland.
The new MyLife Bathrooms Headquarters is expected to open during Summer 2026, and will give the business 85,000 sq ft of warehousing space, 30,000 sq ft of office space and a brand-new showroom.
MyLife is based at Greenbank Industrial estate, however the company says it has outgrown its current space. Following the move, MyLife will now be located on the Warrenpoint-end of the same industrial estate, which it says will give it more room to “deliver excellence to our customers”.
Founded in 2013 by Andrew O’Brien, the business has grown from a team of just four people working out of a 10,000 sq ft warehouse, to having a staff of over 130, spread across three locations: Newry, Wishaw in Scotland, and Southam in England.
According to the company, over the past 12 years, it has grown into a trusted brand serving over 700 customers across the UK and Ireland.
MyLife confirmed that construction on the site had already begun, and it was excited to see its vision eventually come to life. The new MyLife building has been designed by Tania and Colin Dalton of CD Architects, with construction being headed up by Kelly Brothers.
“Our growth over the past 12 years has been driven by the quality of our products, innovative designs, and our incredible team, reflected Andrew O’Brien, founder of MyLife Bathrooms.
He continued: “This investment is a reflection of our confidence in the business and our ambition for the future. The new facility will allow us to continue expanding our product range, enhance our customer experience, and create new job opportunities as we move forward.”
MyLife managing director, Grainne Fearon, also commented: “This new facility is a key step in strengthening our market position. With additional space, we will be able to broaden our product offering while also introducing a purpose-built showroom for our retailer customers, a technical and testing area, and a brand-new training academy—reinforcing our commitment to excellence and innovation.”
