British range cooker brand Rangemaster is set to debut its first-ever advert for national TV, which will be shown during today’s series premiere of The Great British Bake Off.
The company says the advert has been timed specifically to coincide with the prime-time show, which it celebrated as “arguably the ultimate celebration of home baking”.
This marks a significant moment for the brand, as it seeks to boost the profile of the range cooking category among both the design-conscious and family-focused households. Specifically, the company also specified it is hoping the advert will help to support retail conversations around investment in the kitchen space.
As well as its appearance on TV, Rangemaster’s marketing activity will be supported across other platforms, such as digital, print magazines, and social media, with the goal of raising overall visibility for the brand.
“Firstly, I would like to once again thank our retail partners for their loyal support, given the difficult start to the year with supply chain challenges,” commented Dominic Worsley, Aga Rangemaster’s group managing director.
He continued: “This advertising campaign marks an exciting new chapter for the Rangemaster brand. It’s about building a deeper, long-term emotional connection with consumers and celebrating the role that, as our research shows, Rangemaster range cookers play in family life.
“Equally, this investment is designed to take the lead in reinvigorating the range cooker category, driving new energy into the market and creating more opportunities for our retail partners to grow sales and differentiate themselves.”
You can catch the new 60-second advert during the first commercial break of tonight’s Bake Off episode, which will be on at 8pm on Channel 4.
This new advert debit follows Rangemaster unveiling a new logo and brand identity at last year’s kbb show exhibition, which was rolled-out with the brand’s first-ever appearance at the trade show in a decade.
