Matt Lake has been promoted to become Roca Group UK & Ireland’s new head of product & supply, following Mark Winfield’s retirement.
Lake has been with the company for more than 11 years, after joining Roca Group as an inventory manager. His new position sees him taking on responsibility for UK product management across all of Roca Group’s brands, while also maintaining oversight of stock control. The company’s newly appointed inventory manager will also report directly to him in the new role.
“I’ve really enjoyed the inventory manager role,” Lake reflected. “Our stock-related processes have grown and evolved a fair bit in that time and I’ve relished that challenge.
With Mark soon retiring, I was excited about the opportunity to step into this position. It’s a great chance to help both product management and stock control work closely together. Inventory management is very process-driven, so I’m hoping the structure and analytical thinking I’ve built up over the years will really benefit me in this new role.
