Northern Irish furniture retailer and manufacturer Exorna has invested £100k into its business, unveiling a redesigned showroom and new finance options for customers.
Following the investment, Exorna has introduced eight new fitted furniture displays, as well as a contemporary fitted bedroom, laundry and utility room. The company has also launched its new Exorna SmartSmace, aid to be a new concept which showcases advanced storage solutions and compact appliances.
The company was founded in 1981 by Willie Oliver and moved into its current facility in Hillmans Way, Coleraine, in 1991. It supplies its fitted furniture to house builders, property developers, public housing authorities and social housing suppliers, as well as selling direct to the consumer.
The unveiling of the new showroom brought together senior figures from the business, such as its sales, procurement, finance, technical and marketing teams, as well as hosting its long-running supplier Uform.
Speaking at the opening, Uform group CEO Simon Oliphant said: “Not only do Exorna have the design capabilities, but they also have considerable expertise in other areas of the business which makes for a transparent and seamless buying experience for the customer. The finance options available are the cherry on top!”
Explaining the company’s new finance options, Richard Nixon, Exorna’s finance director, also commented: “We have partnered with a leading finance provider, meaning that all our installations are now available as an affordable monthly payment, which can be spread over up to 10 years of monthly instalments. Our fitted furniture offerings have never been so affordable.”
Exorna director Andy Oliver added: “As both a manufacturer and a retailer, we can offer our customers the best possible value for any fitted furniture project in the home. That’s why we launched our Exorna Price Promise, in simple terms, we will not be beaten on price, from cabinetry to fitted electrical appliances.”
Last year, Exorna also invested nearly half-a-million pounds into equipping its production plant with solar panels. Following the investment, the 100,000sq ft manufacturing facility in Coleraine was upgraded with a 450kW solar panel system that now supplies the plant with 60% of its annual energy requirements.
