Speaking exclusively to kbbreview, German furniture manufacturer Rotpunkt has confirmed that it is expanding its offering to include bathroom products, as it looks to position itself as a “comprehensive whole-home furniture partner”.
Set to launch in the UK in January 2026, Rotpunkt’s new bathroom furniture range will include handleless base units, complementary tall units and mirror cabinets, all of which will be available in the brand’s existing colour and finish options.
Later in the year, Rotpunkt also plans to introduce a range of complementary basins, designed to support its new bathroom furniture range.
Rotpunkt’s managing director of sales and marketing, Sven Herden, says the company’s expansion into bathrooms will help KBB retailers by allowing them to offer products outside of just kitchen furniture, which he says should “increase revenue and ultimately provide a more streamlined buying experience”.
He also adds that the company does not view its bathroom offer as a new product category, but instead as an extension to its current furniture portfolio. This means that the company’s full offering includes products designed for kitchens, utility rooms, hallways, bedrooms, and now, bathrooms.
Discussing the launch, Herden commented: “Presenting our network of specialist dealers with a deluxe range of bathroom furniture, Rotpunkt is now able to transform the modern bathroom in a similar way to the kitchen, where clean lines, natural materials, and creative layouts help to showcase our furniture and our retailer’s creative direction in its purest form.
“At the same time, this launch underlines our broader vision to be recognised not only as a premium kitchen brand, but as a comprehensive whole-home furniture partner, adding another key living space to the company’s growing portfolio, which goes beyond the kitchen.”
Explaining how the bathroom launch has been created with retailer support in mind, Herden said: “We want our retailers to consider how offering our complete range of furniture solutions can introduce or build new revenue streams within a business. By branching out into previously untapped markets like the bathroom, [retailers] will not only create a new customer base and the potential for referrals, but also the ability to develop the skillset of your staff by supporting every square inch of a property.”
Herden concluded: “Variety has long been considered the spice of life, but it is also the lifeblood of any business when it comes to driving satisfaction and locking-in repeat business.”
