BSH UK head to step down

Gunjan Srivastava has led BSH UK & Ireland since 2020

Gunjan Srivastava, the chief executive of appliance giant BSH UK & Ireland has just announced he is stepping down from his role, and is due to depart in January 2026.

Srivastava has been with the company for almost 12 years, and CEO of BSH in the UK since April 2020. It is currently not known who his successor will be, with BSH saying it will announce its new UK head “at a later date”.

His first role at the company was working as the chief executive of BSH India, where the company says he was instrumental in building the company’s service infrastructure and brand portfolio. During his tenure as CEO of the Indian division, BSH said its profits “surged” and the business went on to establish itself as one of the company’s significant home appliance companies.

Following this role, he also became BSH’s head of region for Asia Pacific, before being appointed to his current role of CEO of BSH UK & Ireland.

BSH – which owns the brands Bosch, Neff, Siemens and Gaggenau – says that under his direction, its UK division has strengthened its position considerably in both the major and small domestic appliance markets.

“I am extremely proud of everything we have achieved in my time as CEO of the UK & Ireland business,” Srivastava commented. “Despite tough market conditions, we have continued to grow and gain market share, and that is a testament to the hard-working team we have.”

He continued: “I would also like to thank all our trade partners for their commitment and support over the past five years. We have enjoyed great success together and I am sure that will continue in the years to come.”
