The British Institute of Fitted Interiors Specialists (BIFIS) has announced it will host two retailer-focused lunch events during kbb Birmingham next month, as part of its wider Retailer Connect initiative.
Both lunch sessions will work on an exclusive invite-only basis, and are designed for retail business owners and decision makers to connect and discuss challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
Taking place on both March 2 and 4, from 12:00 until 1:30pm, BIFIS says that numbers will be strictly limited to ensure a high quality experience for retailers. As a result, places will also be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with retailers encouraged to reach out to the organisation early to secure a spot.
At the sessions, BIFIS CEO Damian Walters plans to provide a strategic update, and will also discuss how predicted legislative changes are likely to affect retail businesses. BIFIS’ director of marketing and communications, Michelle Daniels, will also share insights into how retailers can strengthen and grow their business through their installation proposition.
“Independent retailers are an important part of our industry, and installation is a vital element of customer journey when buying – whether that be a kitchen, bedroom suite, bathroom, flooring or even smart tech,” commented Damian Walters.
“These exclusive lunches are about giving connecting with retailers, giving them space to step back, meet with peers and engage in meaningful conversation about the future of fitted interiors. kbb Birmingham is the perfect platform to bring retailers and installation together in this way.”
kbb Birmingham is set to run for four days next month, from March 1 to 4 at the NEC Birmingham.
