KBB giant Masco reports flat 2025 sales

US-based Masco Corporation, the owner of KBB brands such as Bristan and Hansgrohe, saw flat revenue across 2025 with profits down slightly year-on-year.

In its full-year results published this week, net sales reportedly decreased by around 3%, from $7.828bn the previous year to $7.562bn for 2025.

Gross profit for 2025 was reported as $2.679bn, down by around 5% compared to the previous year. Masco’s operating profit in 2025 was $1.248bn – a year-on-year decrease of roughly 8%.

Looking at sales figures by product type, Masco says net sales for plumbing products increased by around 3% last year, but net sales for decorative architectural products were down by 14%.

By region, Masco has also reported that its sales in North America were down by 5%, but sales in the international market enjoyed a 1% increase year-on-year.

Jon Nudi, Masco’s president and chief executive officer, also said that Masco had begun to implement restructuring actions to “further streamline our business, reduce headcount, and optimize operations”. He anticipates that the savings generated by these actions will help the company to fund growth initiatives and contribute to future margin expansion.

He continued: “For 2026, we believe sales across the global repair and remodel markets will be roughly flat. We expect our sales to be roughly flat to up low-single digits when adjusted for currency, as we expect to continue to outperform the market in 2026.

“With our industry leading brands, consumer focused product portfolio, strong balance sheet, and disciplined capital allocation, we believe Masco is well positioned to continue to deliver long-term shareholder value.”
