EXCLUSIVE: InHouse now offering ‘good, better, best’ proposition

Impuls’s stand at this year’s kbb Show

Speaking exclusively to kbbreview, InHouse Inspired Room Design MD Stuart Dance says its efforts to ‘springboard’ the Impuls brand at kbb Show means that it is now able to offer retailers with a complete “good, better, best” offering alongside its next125 and Schüller brands.

Discussing InHouse’s brand portfolio with kbbreview, Dance said: “Impuls is now fully owned by the Schüller brand, so bringing it to market, our idea is to offer ways in for retailers and customers at different price points across a ‘good, better, best’ situation.”

Describing kbb Show 2026 as a “springboard” for the Impuls brand, InHouse’s kbb Show stand has been designed in such a way as to offer a “journey” through this offering, Dance says, beginning at the next125 entrance, and moving through to the more “entry level” offering of Impuls.

Explaining the thinking behind the offering, Dance said: “With the internet playing more and more of a role in the market, we really don’t want to cannibalise our business or upset retailers, so having this extra brand opens up avenues for different retailers, and it creates opportunities because of where it sits due to its price.

“It’s our job to make sure we don’t take business away from our retailers, which is why we’ve carefully targeted all of these brands at different price points. For instance, using Schüller retailers to sell Impuls doesn’t make sense, so we’re looking to meet and connect with different audiences.”

Discussing its ongoing strategies for the three brands, Dance said: “Impusl is more of a condensed range, because of where it’s sitting in the market, but we’re pleased to be able to introduce more retailers to that at the show this year. With Schüller, our strategy is still largely the same as it has been, and we’re going to continue to be consistent with that. And with next125, the first concept store was launched last year, and now we’ve got the second one on the horizon too.”
