KBB trade association the KBSA has appointed Coalville Kitchens owner Luke Wedgbury to be its new vice chair.

Wedgbury has been a KBSA member since 2021, and joined the group’s board of directors several years ago.

The organisation said in his new role, it was confident that Wedgbury would play a key role in its mission to support independent retailers and their customers.

“I’m delighted to be in a position to contribute,” Luke Wedgbury commented. “The KBSA is a well-established and highly respected organisation, and the opportunity to help build on its continued growth is truly significant.”

In other news, the KBSA recently announced that it was postponing its annual Autumn conference until Spring 2027, with the gap in this year’s schedule being filled with a series of new regional events instead.
