UK tiling distributor Verona Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, and has committed to evolving its offering even further as the company continues to grow.
Originally founded in 2001 as The Mosaic Tile Company, the business says it has seen considerable changes over the past quarter of a century, adapting both its product offering and service proposition in response to shifting customer demands.
For example, Verona says one of the most notable industry changes has been the move away from traditional natural stone products such as travertine, marble and split face tiles towards porcelain and ceramic surfaces. Advances in high-definition inkjet printing have played a key role in that transition, allowing manufacturers to create increasingly realistic stone, marble and wood-effect finishes while offering consumers a more practical and cost-effective solution.
Alongside product development, Verona says investment in customer support has remained central to its long-term strategy. The company has reportedly expanded its sales support infrastructure with a nationwide network of representatives, while continuing to develop its online trade portal to streamline ordering and account management for retailers.
The distributor has also placed increased emphasis on merchandising and marketing support in recent years, providing customers with point-of-sale displays, sample boards, literature and lifestyle imagery designed to help retailers create a stronger in-store experience.
“Reaching 25 years in business is a milestone we are incredibly proud of, and it’s one that wouldn’t have been possible without the trust and loyalty of our customers,” commented Katy Black, Verona Group’s marketing director.
“From our beginnings as The Mosaic Tile Company to becoming a leading UK distributor, our journey has always been shaped by listening to our customers and evolving alongside their needs. As we look ahead, we remain committed to delivering innovative products, outstanding service, and long-term value to our partners across the UK.”
