Italian kitchen manufacturer Snaidero is celebrating its 80th anniversary, highlighting its long-standing role in the development of modular kitchen systems.
Italian kitchen brand Snaidero is marking its 80th anniversary this year, reflecting on a legacy that has seen it grow from a small workshop into a globally distributed manufacturer.
Founded in 1946 by Rino Snaidero in Majano, Italy, the company has become closely associated with the development of modular kitchen design. Today, the brand is present in more than 60 countries.
The anniversary has also been recognised in Italy with the release of a commemorative postage stamp, signalling the company’s wider cultural and industrial significance in its home market.
“Snaidero is an excellence of the furniture industry”, comments company president Edi Snaidero. “A reality that, thanks to continuous experimentation and the pioneering vision that has always characterised it, stands as a global benchmark for the sector.
“Snaidero’s 80th anniversary is a milestone that we should experience with a collective spirit … the evolution of the home and its systems owes a great deal to this company”.
While the business has used the milestone to revisit elements of its brand identity – including updates to its long-standing logo – the core focus remains on its established product categories.
The company also says it is continuing to invest in its distribution network and partnerships, with a focus on expanding in key regions while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
“Snaidero is currently distributed in numerous international markets, from the Far East to the United States, with a development plan that includes targeted openings in major global economic areas,” comments Roberto Dreolini, global business development director. “The goal is to strengthen the brand’s presence further through a qualified distribution network and an increasingly recognisable and consistent visual identity.”
