Online design platform Houzz has tallied the search insights from its users, and says it has identified the biggest rising UK design trends of 2026, which includes moveable kitchen islands, appliance garages and traditional-style bedrooms.

Houzz collected its data by examining the year-on-year search growth for specific terms from users on its platform between January to March 2025 and the same period in 2026.

According to Houzz, which boasts more than 70,000 users, the biggest search increase in its UK Houzz Emerging Trends Report for 2026 was for “moveable kitchen island”, which has seen an astounding year-on-year rise of 838%.
