Hardware brand Hendel & Hendel has appointed Sophia Zikoudi as its new head of KBB sales, which the company says reflects its commitment to strengthen its presence within the KBB market.
Zikoudi joins the brand following five years spent at boiling water tap company Quooker, where Hendel & Hendel says she built strong industry relationships working with clients, partners and sector peers.
As head of KBB sales, she will now be responsible for developing Hendel & Hendel’s sales strategy within the KBB market. This will include supporting the company’s existing partners as well as helping to grow its presence with KBB studios, designers and retailers.
“I have admired Hendel & Hendel for a long time, so to now have the opportunity to join the business at such an exciting point in its journey feels incredibly special,” Sophia Zikoudi commented. “From my earliest conversations with the team, I was drawn to the clarity of the brand’s vision, the attention to detail and the ambition to create something truly distinctive within the industry.
“The KBB sector has always been built on far more than products alone. It is about relationships, trust and the shared ambition to create spaces that feel personal, lasting and beautifully made. I am looking forward to reconnecting with many of the clients and partners I have worked with throughout my career so far, while also building new relationships as Hendel & Hendel continues to grow.”
Terry Haughton, Hendel & Hendel managing director, also added: “Sophia brings with her a rare combination of sector knowledge, warmth and commercial instinct, and we are delighted to welcome her to Hendel & Hendel. She understands the KBB industry not only from a sales perspective, but from a relationship perspective, which is something we value deeply as a business.
“Her experience, energy and genuine connection with clients and partners make her a brilliant fit for the brand, and we are looking forward to seeing the impact she will have as we continue to build Hendel & Hendel’s presence in the market.”
News of Zikoudi’s new role follows the announcement that Hendel & Hendel also appointed several other new starters at the start of this year, with their roles spanning marketing, export, client advisory and customer service.
