Italian appliance brand Smeg has recently launched Isola, a new collection of hobs and extraction systems designed in collaboration with Stefano Boeri Interiors.
Smeg says the collection has been designed as a range of statement piece appliances, which “challenge the idea that appliances should disappear into the background, instead giving them a stronger role within the kitchen landscape”.
All with a rounded form design and integrated lighting, the hobs come in three models, Flat, Alta and Alta Pro, with this last model also including a downdraft system that emerges only when needed.
The Isola collection is also launching with a system of suspended hoods and lighting rails, available in either stainless steel or matte black.
