Italian appliance brand Smeg has recently launched Isola, a new collection of hobs and extraction systems.
The hobs come in three models. Flat offers a minimal look with clean surfaces and softened corners. Alta introduces a raised frame in stainless steel or matte black, adding depth and dimension, with selected models also offering integrated extraction. Finally, Alta Pro features a motorised downdraft system that emerges only when needed to remove steam, smoke and cooking odours.
The Isola collection is also launching with a system of suspended hoods and lighting rails, available in either stainless steel or matte black with adjustable lighting and intuitive touch controls. The collection is completed by a gesture-controlled lighting rail, allowing users to adjust both the intensity and warmth of light.
