Shower enclosure and accessories supplier Merlyn has announced it will continue its partnership with breast cancer charity Pink Ribbon Foundation (PRF), and will be involved with two of its upcoming initiatives next month.
Merlyn will be a sponsor for PRF’s PINKLondon2024 Party, which is being held at The Underglobe in London on October 3. According to Merlyn, the glamorous occasion will be attended by the charity’s celebrity supporters, and will celebrate the Foundation’s work helping those affected by breast cancer.
The bathroom brand has also announced it will be launching its own “Step Up to Breast Cancer” fundraising campaign. Throughout October, Merlyn is encouraging those in the KBB industry to take part and take as many steps as they can to raise funds for the charity. The campaign is designed to not only raise funds, but also to promote health and wellness among its participants.
Merlyn has promised that all fundraising participants who register for its initiative will be entered into a draw to win a luxurious spa weekend.
Eileen Slattery, marketing director at Merlyn, commented: “At Merlyn, we are deeply committed to supporting the incredible work of the Pink Ribbon Foundation. Our involvement in the PINKlondon2024 party and the ‘Step Up to Breast Cancer’ campaign is showing our continued dedication to this cause.
“We are proud to stand alongside the Pink Ribbon Foundation in their tireless efforts to support those affected by breast cancer and to contribute to their mission in a meaningful way.”
Merlyn has supported the Pink Ribbon Foundation for a number of years. At the kbb show in 2022, the Foundation took over one of Merlyn’s shower enclosures by painting a striking image of breasts on the glass, hoping to raise awareness for its cause.
