Grohe to open first-ever UK Specification Hub this year

Grohe is planning on opening its first-ever UK Specification Hub, which it is aiming to launch before the end of the year.

The hub will be established as a permanent residence in Islington’s Business Design Centre, joining several other major brands already open in the space.

It will serve as a dedicated hub for the brand’s architecture and design customers, who will be able to visit the space to see Grohe’s products first-hand. This will include displays of plumbed-in shower systems for live demonstrations, Sensia Pro shower toilets, brassware and accessories.

As well as for client visits, the space will also be used by the Grohe UK team for events, training demonstrations and product launches.

The opening of the Grohe specification hub is being spearheaded by Chris Dodds, leader of Grohe in the UK & Ireland, and Louis Pullen, leader of Grohe’s Architecture & Design division for the UK.

“The opening of our Specification Hub in the Business Design Centre is a strategic step in our plans for the projects sector, which is growing at pace in the UK and Ireland,” said Dodds.

He added: “We understand the value and importance of providing a space that offers our customers a tactile experience with our products ahead of specification, and now is the right time for us to invest in a dedicated space for our A&D partners within the UK.

“We’re continuing to expand our premium and professional product offering and this space will offer a new touchpoint for our partners and prospective customers who want to learn more about Grohe’s unique innovations.”

In January of this year, Grohe took on Primaflow F&P as a new nationwide distributor for its trade range of bathroom and kitchen products. Also this year, Grohe supported the second HIP female-only plumbing and heating skills competition, as part of its GIVE vocational training and education programme.
