Harvey Jones opens largest showroom yet

Premium kitchen retail chain Harvey Jones has opened its largest-ever showroom, located at luxury shopping destination Bicester Village in Oxfordshire.

Across its 1,200 sq ft store footprint, the new showroom contains four large kitchen displays, which includes the Harvey Jones Original style, as well as Arbor, Hampton and the newly-released Slim Shaker model.

As well as the displays, the new space also features high ceilings to show off the brand’s tall cabinetry, as well as a pet parlour and walk-in glass-walled pantry.

Located on Bicester Avenue Home and Garden, the new showroom space sits alongside other brands such as Heal’s, Pagazzi Lighting and Lakeland, near the Blue Diamond Garden Centre.

Harvey Jones says its designers have also included a stepped stone feature wall and internal alcoves, an over appliance wine rack, a high low island with bench and bar seating, and a large square entertaining island inclusive of BORA Hob.

Within the showroom, wallpaper is by Milton & King, hardware by Hendel & Hendel, and the new pearl beige Miele wine chiller is also featured prominently.

Vince Gunn, Harvey Jones CEO commented: “This has been a fantastic new opening for Harvey Jones at a renowned quintessential luxury retail destination. This completes what has been a huge year for us with two new premium locations, two showroom refurbishment projects and the roll out of our brand refresh.

“Our dedicated design teams have worked exceptionally well on this new space at Bicester, curating a beautiful, luxury kitchen showroom which is a continued evolution of what a Harvey Jones showroom experience will be for our clients.

“We are very excited to have opened the doors officially and showcase the extension of our expertise in the wider homes space with our ‘Designed for life, built for living’ ethos. Bicester Village feels like a natural next step for the Harvey Jones brand and we look forward to welcoming visitors into the space.”

In February, it was reported that the future of the kitchen retail chain was up in the air after the company confirmed it was seeking new investors in an attempt to avoid administration.

However, just days later, it was confirmed that Harvey Jones had been rescued in a last-minute pre-pack deal, and was acquired by a fund managed by RBC BlueBay Asset Management.
