KBB furniture manufacturer JJO has announced a further £250k investment into its delivery fleet, which has enabled the purchase of two new DAF XD 18-tonne rigids.
According to the company, both of the new vehicles are fully compliant with the direct vision standard, as well as the ultra-low emission zone regulations, both or which will be key for delivering into London.
The rollout of the new fleet follows shortly after the launch of the company’s new “cradle-to-gate carbon data” calculator, which can be used for all JJO kitchen products.
Built in collaboration with The Carbon Trust, the calculator collates the embodied carbon of JJO’s products with the greenhouse gas emissions from delivery, to provide an accurate footprint of the carbon associated with each project specification as it leaves the factory
