Caesarstone has announced both the promotion of a new senior leader, as well as the appointment of two new commercial specialists.
Former head of retail & trade chains, Majid Khan, has now been promoted to the position of business development director. In the new role, he will look to lead the commercial channel, and further develop the company’s presence in the large-scale residential project market.
Caesarstone says he played a key role in the evolution of its commercial strategy, and will now lead a growing team focused on delivering sector-specific expertise, tailored support and long-term value to housebuilders and developers.
Also joining Khan’s team are Sean Nolan and Shannon Lauderdale, both newly appointed national account managers for the housebuilding and development market. Going forward, their roles will involve supporting partners in ROI, and London and the South Easr, respectively.
Nolan joins the company from Kube Interiors, where he served as the business’ technical manager. In that role, he was said to be responsible for managing tenders, overseeing contracts and co-ordinating the installation of more than 2,500 kitchens and 4,000 wardrobes annually.
Meanwhile, Lauderdale has extensive experience as a key account manager at Afrigan, described as a leading stone fabricator in South Africa, where she worked closely with architects, designers and developers for five years. In fact, for three of those years, she was the company’s leading Caesarstone sales representative, and as such, has already developed a deep understanding of the brand and its products.
